After his previous single ‘Sell Yourself’ received six UK and US radio plays, Aberdeen artist Paarmik Arvind is back with another release making waves on Amazing Radio.
It has only been a few weeks since 16-year-old Aberdeen artist Paarmik Arvind’s Sell Yourself received six radio plays across the UK and US, but he is already back with another track getting attention.
This time, it’s Thanks To Joe!.
The latest release has received four radio plays from broadcaster Jim Gellatly, who previously championed Sell Yourself, giving Paarmik another run of radio exposure from one of the UK's well-known music broadcasters.
And the support doesn't stop there.
Thanks To Joe! has also been featured four times on Amazing Radio’s Rock and Metal genre stream playlist, bringing the song to a total of eight radio and playlist appearances.
For an independent 16-year-old artist from Aberdeen, getting original music repeatedly selected for radio and playlist programming is a pretty remarkable run.
Paarmik has now had both of his recent releases picked up by Amazing Radio, following the success of Sell Yourself. What started with one song being discovered has now developed into a continuing presence on radio and curated music playlists.
Thanks To Joe! itself tells the bizarre story of an imaginary character who hasn't slept for ten days before deciding that starting a band is a fantastic idea. The band then goes on to become a huge musical phenomenon.
But behind the ridiculous story is something very real: another original song from a young Aberdeen artist continuing to find an audience.
From Sell Yourself getting six radio plays to Thanks To Joe! picking up four radio plays and four playlist placements, Paarmik Arvind is continuing to build momentum with his music.
With Thanks To Joe! heading to Spotify soon, Paarmik is already working on new music, with more original releases in the pipeline and plenty more to come from the Aberdeen artist.
