The Aberdeen City Lieutenancy is supporting the National Literacy Trust’s “Go All In” campaign which promotes the message “if you’re into it, read into it”.

Launched during the National Year of Reading 2026, the campaign aims to encourage people of all ages to explore reading through things they’re passionate about, whether it be sport, music, food, gaming, films, fashion, or other interests.

Lord-Lieutenant of Aberdeen, Doctor David Cameron said:

“Reading opens doors, builds confidence, and enables people of every age to explore new ideas and opportunities.

“We are delighted to be working with the National Literacy Trust and look forward to supporting initiatives that will encourage and inspire people to increase their love of reading.”

The Lord-Lieutenant and Deputy Lieutenants will work with the National Literacy Trust to support and promote initiatives across the city during the remainder of 2026 and throughout the years ahead.
