People looking for employment, training or a fresh career opportunity are being invited to attend the ABZWorks Jobs Fair next month.
The free event, organised by Aberdeen City Council’s employability and skills service, ABZWorks, will take place on Thursday 10 September, from 10am until 3pm, at the Sandman Signature Hotel & Spa, St Andrew Street, Aberdeen.The Jobs Fair has been organised to coincide with Scottish Employability Day 2026 and will bring together employers, training providers and support organisations to help people take their next step towards employment.
Councillor Christian Allard, Co-Leader of Aberdeen City Council, said:
The ABZWorks Jobs Fair provides an excellent opportunity for people to connect directly with employers, training providers and support organisations in one place. Whether someone is looking for work, considering changing jobs or hoping to develop new skills, there will be a wide range of opportunities and advice available on the day.
“We are pleased to host the event as part of Scottish Employability Day and would encourage anyone interested in exploring their next career move to come along and find out what support is available.
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet employers with live vacancies, explore training and development opportunities, access employability support, receive CV advice and take part in mock interviews.
The event is open to people of all ages, whether they are entering the workforce for the first time, looking to develop new skills or considering a career change.
A dedicated Quiet Hour will take place from 2pm to 3pm to support attendees with additional needs.
The venue is a 10-minute walk from Aberdeen city centre and is served by First Bus service 12 and Stagecoach service 59.
Admission is free, but advance booking is encouraged via Eventbrite.
